Here are my thoughts on them.

I haven't been watching as many shows as I used to, primarily because my day job makes it practically impossible to do so. Back when I was doing freelance I followed TWENTY (possibly more), for crying out loud. I've picked up a few new ones, sure, but the ones I dropped over the years far outnumber them. That is why I absolutely have no idea why I am going through the new fall shows like a fat kid tasting free samples in an ice cream store. Okay, that's not entirely true. I do know, and it's because I like to fill the void in my life with meaningless things. So there.

Part 2 of 2

In the first part of this series, I wrote about upcoming shows. Now let's check out the returning ones this season. Some of the series I'm watching have already started like Doctor Who (3 episodes), Boss (5 episodes), and Grimm (season 2 episode 1 in a few hours) so this post is actually a little late. I've also been offline the past couple of weeks so I'm not sure if the details here are up-to-date so feel free to reply with corrections in the comments.

Alright then, I think we're all set. My returning TV shows picks, after the jump!

It's that time of the year again when geeks of the world come together and partake in all things... uh, geeky: The San Diego Comic Con! This year, like the year before, was chock-full of wonderful things that at one point during Preview Night (I was monitoring the SDCC and ComicCon hashtags on Twitter), I almost went insane out of envy for the fuckers who were present there. True story.

Also, I may or may not have cried a few times.

Anyhoo, like last year's entry, I've compiled a bunch of things that caught my eye in this year's Comic Con.

In my last entry, I talked about returning shows. Now let's talk about some upcoming series.

I chose these based on articles that I read and/or promo trailers that I saw. Most of them look pretty good on paper but of course, it remains to be seen whether they actually deserve a spot in my precious, quickly-running-out-of-space external hard drive. I'd probably end up downloading all pilot episodes and weeding out the ones I won't like afterwards.

Again, I reiterate: I have an unusually high tolerance for so-so shows, so if you do watch some of these and you end up wasting 30-60 minutes of your oh-so valuable time, don't blame me. Capisce?

Now, let's get down to business.

It's fall season in the US again! I have absolutely no idea what that means, save for the fact that it's the time that a lot of TV shows come back from their respective hiatuses or season breaks. It's also the time when major US TV networks unveil their lineup of new shows. I'm going to talk about those I'm looking forward to in a future entry but for now, let's look at the returning shows this year that I'm following.
