We interrupt your usual programming to bring you this special announcement: Entertainment Weekly gives us a first look at Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern!

While some friends hate the costume, I find myself liking it. I dunno. I mean, at least it doesn't look as bad as the Thor movie costumes. I just hope they somehow incorporate the whole black-and-green theme from the comics. As it is, there's not enough black in there for me.

Still a long way to go till the planned June 17, 2011 screening, so there's a chance they'll still tweak the costume a bit. It's purely CGI anyways. I hope they leak more pictures soon, hopefully one with a full-body shot. Heh.
