"when you want something bad enough, the universe conspires to help you get it"
-paolo coelho

the cynic in me screams bull at this line, but the idealistic optimist in me dares to believe. i close my eyes for a second, letting their voices echo in my mind.

(that's a load of crock and you know it)

(i do hope these words are true)

"if you want something bad enough...."

do i?

(you already said goodbye)

(i did, but it's not that simple)

i do. i KNOW i do.

i want HER. the woman with the almond-shaped eyes. my white rose. the princess from the south.

".....the universe conspires to help you get it"

(i do hope these words are true)

i LOVE her.

    "...it's not LOVE to be static like the desert, nor is it LOVE to see everything from a distance... Love is the force that transforms and improves the Soul of the World [which is not perfect for it has its own passions and wars]. It is we who nourish the Soul of the World, and the world we live in will either [get] better or worse, depending on whether we become better or worse. And that's where the power of love comes in. Because when we love, we always strive to become better than we are." -Santiago to the Sun, The Alchemist {P.Coelho}

    ...love makes you do things out of the ordinary... if moved by that current of desire...are you going to be static like the desert, be watchful like the sun from a distance, or take the leap of fate and be the wind that can move mountains by the sand? if it works out, it works out.. if not, at least you've exhausted the natural force of destiny within your control...

    my duckiethoughts:
    "We must Keep ourselves ajar --
    to chances and possibilities;
    Our Hearts and Minds alike --
    destined to a point,
    We then lead ourselves afar..."
