me and kaye were headed home last night from our respective workplaces. it usually takes 2 rides for us to do so, and the final one is a 20 minute jeepney trip. we get on the jeep and we see a friggin' cockroach on the seat across ours. just then a middle-aged man got on the same jeep and sat on the spot where we saw the hellspawned creepy-crawly. i immediately called the man's attention and pointed to the spot. "boss, me ipis po diyan!", i said, barely hiding my terror. he flinched, shocked at the urgency of my statement. afterwards, after comprehending what my statement meant, he nonchalantly flicked the insect away and settled comfortably in his seat. galeng. buti na lang di sha ginapangan sa shorts. that would have been more disgusting than actually holding it, no?

then he picked his nose with the same finger.

another booboo kaye and i saw a few months back: a sign at a seedy karaoke bar near our place which proclaims "come join us in celebrating the opening of jedd's angels bar! watch our regular performers, plus more SURPRISED guests!"
